Not This World, But That One
]
I keep turning the pages of storybooks, again and again—
longing for the worlds within them, endlessly.
At this age, still yearning for a fairytale life,
still flipping through children’s books wherever I go—
it may seem a little silly, even embarrassing.
But to me, that world will remain eternally beautiful.
Born as an irreversible being,
yet constantly pretending to be reversible—
I can’t help but obsess over that soft, yielding world.
As Allen Ginsberg once said,
this place holds too much:
Too many words.
Too many philosophies.
Too much hatred.
But that other place—
it is both primitive and refined,
pure,
clear,
untainted by the murky waters of the world.
And above all—
goodness prevails, and love always wins.
Where justice unfolds as it should.
Where kindness is not a question.
Perhaps it is a utopia that exists in complete opposition
to everything on this planet.

Too many crazy students
Not enough farms
